Our primary objective at MLB is to make legal research easier for lawyers - by producing law reports, indexes and computer databases. Our law reports are produced in books and in Internet databases. We receive judicial decisions from court offices throughout Canada and from the Judicial Office of the House of Lords (U.K.). The decisions are read, classified and edited by our editors who create the material for headnotes and indexes for our reporters. Typists create copy for our electronic and print products. Maritime Law Book owns and operates its own web servers and print shop. Binding of our books is outsourced. MLB publishes 14 law reporters that cover every jurisdiction in Canada, except Quebec. MLB is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, a capital city on the Saint John River. MLB is owned by New Brunswick residents. MLB was founded in 1969 and has 60 employees.
