The Newfoundland & Prince Edward Island Reports commenced publication in 1970. The series includes all of the decisions of the Newfoundland Court of Appeal and the Prince Edward Island Court of Appeal, plus selected trial decisions, plus Supreme Court of Canada decisions originating in Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island. The approximate number of volumes per year is 12.

Starting January 1, 1997 the Newfoundland & Prince Edward Island Reports database includes unedited cases that would ordinarily be unreported.
